We rarely have the opportunity for styled shoots, since most are on weekends. So we were so stoked when Rachel asked us to be apart of their shoot at The Creative Chateau, which is amazing by the way. We had the opportunity to work with some incredibly creative business minds and see these little visions come to life.
Read MoreWhen we were planning our wedding there was something about watching Jakes wedding videos and watching the real, raw emotion that he captured. Watching his videos made us feel as if we were there with the other couples on their special days and we wanted that for people who weren’t going to be able to make it to the wedding. Jake has an incredible eye for this work and we believe it’s because of how passionate he is about it. He puts his all into it and we really appreciated that!!
Read MoreCall me crazy, but I actually had a few guidelines set in place for the proposal. Jason knocked all three of these out of the park!
1. I wanted my family to be there
2. I wanted my best friend Courtney to be there
3. I wanted a photographer to take pictures while he proposed
We met working at an accounting firm during college. I don't really think we fit the general mold for accountants. We're no Kevin from The Office. Derrick is die hard Ole Miss fan - particularly baseball and football. Lots of his time is spent watching those games. I enjoy the social aspect of sports, not necessarily the sport part of sports!
Read MoreThe experience we wanted to give to our guest is for them to have the same amount of fun at our wedding that Jake and I have everyday. The way y’all captured our special day did just that. The club scene(which is what we call it lol) of the reception, not only looks like a blast but truly was.
Read MoreSometimes we don’t have the time for sunset imagery, cause not every day is the same! We don’t think that should keep you from having beautiful sunset style photos though! We had fun creating some sunset light with Mason and Kristi on their wedding day after their Catholic ceremony.

Read MoreDaniel and I are super easy-going and open to anything! We love getting to try new things together. New restaurants, trying new date nights like going to an escape room or going rock climbing. We also love to just chill and watch movies...we are big scary movie fans! I would say something that is very important to both of us is family and our community.
Read MoreWe wanted to have a film made so we could rewatch our wedding day over and over and be able to relive those special moments. In the summer time you will find us at the beach hanging out with friends! We love to binge watch our favorite Netflix shows and spend time with family. Quality time is so important to us.
Read MoreWe want all of our guests to feel as if they are our family and to be just as excited as we are. Everyone invited to our wedding has played some role in our lives both together and separate and helped us grow into the people we are today and we want to show how thankful we are not only that they helped us grow into better people for each other but as people in general. We want it to be a celebration of life and not only the love we share for each other but for our family and friends as well.

From the invitations, to all the decorations, the music chosen, the flowers and pure simplicity of everything; I want our guests to remember the sweet details we chose, see the love and happiness we share, know how much we appreciate them attending and without a doubt, have TOO MUCH fun partying.” - Jeslyn (Bride)
Read MoreColby & I love the simple things in life such as just truly being together. Anything we do together we enjoy! We find ourselves mostly doing things like Netflix binge watching, fishing, hunting, grilling/cooking, running errands, driving, consuming large amounts of queso, and you can’t forget the margaritas! Our families, friends, and fur child, Dexter, are the most important things to us. Dexter is our right hand man and after long days at work he is what brings a smile to our face. On the weekends, we usually are hanging out with one of our families. Carley has a huge family so we keep busy with family functions!
Read MoreWildflowers have been symbolic in our relationship first because of how Cormac saw me, a bit wild but still delicate. But now wildflowers are representative of how we want our relationship to develop. We want to grow wherever we land, really wherever the Lord places us, and be used to influence to further the kingdom. Kind of how the wildflowers fall and where there's one there are one-hundred more. They're beautiful; easy to grow with, easy to spot, people are drawn to them. We want to be like that.

We are getting married in my Aunts front yard, no matter the weather it is beautiful, if it is not snowing you can see Pikes Peak in the background."

It was the first time I was in charge of setting up a couples adventure session without ever traveling to a destination. It was also the first time Ivey would be shooting a destination wedding with me, even though her role was very minimal (spoiler alert, she nailed it).
